Dave Illman & Julie Corlett While Dave has worked at the station now known as BOB-FM forever, Julie says it just feels like she’s been here forever!! Paired up thru a strange set of circumstances... it might have been fate... it might have been destiny... or it might just have been the fact that they both needed to do something to make a living, Dave’s calm demeanor is often pushed to the limit by Julie’s sugar highs and lows and her inability to talk about anything but her furry friends. (Dave’s probably just jealous...) Perhaps because, in a rush to beat her twin brother (aka 'wombmate') out of the womb, she fell on her head during child birth, Julie is known to always be busy juggling about a dozen things at the same time...both when she is on, or off the air! You can't see her, but while talking with Dave, she might also be texting her husband, writing a news story, and setting up the next caller to go on the air. She calls it multi-tasking....Dave calls it "scatterbrained." Dave's early years involved a fruitless search for rock and roll stardom, and though that never quite panned out, he did manage to at least parlay all that musical knowledge into something resembling a career...and that sound you hear when he goes off on some kind of a musical trivia tangent? That's the sound of Julie's eyes rolling into the back of her head! Dave's other passion can be witnessed at local hockey rinks…either giving penalties, taking them, or showing young players how to avoid them. Between the two of them, Dave and Julie have just the right mix of funny, fun, and serious discussion of the state of turbulence currently encroaching the totalitarian governments of the Middle East. Was that Julie's eyes I just heard again?
