Hi, I'm Jim Richards, Newscaster on BOB-FM. I started working with Chum Radio in 2000 at Country 105 and 1420 CKPT in Peterborough. In 2002, I moved full-time to Bob's previous incarnation, Y92. Then came "BOB" and now we are all living happily after! In my spare time, I like to follow football, hockey and particularly Super 7. I also work in the fashion industry, designing Kenora dinner jackets and those funny Elmer Fudd hats! Along with news, I handle traffic for the radio station. In spite of what that sounds like, it doesn't involve doing anything illegal…or reporting on driving conditions. It involves the scheduling of a lot of the things that you hear on the air. That means my job, like BOB, consists of some of this, some of that, and WHATEVER!!
